SD School & Sports Photography is a Double Minority own business in our hometown, Newberry FL. This business has been in existence for more than 12 years. There have been many trials and errors throughout this process that has allowed this business to establish a level of perfection that is satisfying to our customers. The experience gained from working with the New York City Public Schools, providing professional services to Elementary, Middle, and High-schools, has prepared this company for some of the challenges we face in Florida.

Looking back, I realized that I have poured many years into developing this business, maturing as a Female entrepreneur, and accepting the beauty of this journey perfectly designed by God.

We take every moment to remind ourself how grateful we are for everything God has bless us with.

My aha moment

Perseverance is one of my strengths, as a single mother raising two sons, I served as the President of PTA for their Elementary school. I saw how expensive it is for struggling single mothers trying to purchase a single picture package. This is the fire that motivates our company allowing is to provide Quality & Professional pictures and services that every one can afford. We strive to maintain a higher level of professionalism, that will better served our communities.

I credit my sons and Co-owner  Keith Ross (my late husband) for giving me the support and strength needed to maintain a successful business. Keith having Played sports on a professional level, Keith understands and appreciates the ability for our kids to purchase Quality Photos for memories to come.

Keith Belief that everyone deserve a chance regardless of their past or situation. Having also served over 25 years in law enforcement, with a serving heart , his love for juvenile program was always his priority giving them a 2nd chance.

My last promise to him was to continue his work and legacy to cater to our under privilege families in our communities. We are passionate in what we do here at
